We dug into the MUSE Archives to show you some photos from the set of Larry Clark’s 2001 film BULLY. For those who haven’t seen it (you should) BULLY is based on a true story (from a book by Jim Schutze, screenplay by David McKenna and Roger Pullis) and stars Michael Pitt, Brad Renfro, Nick Stahl, Bijou Phillips, Leo Fitzpatrick and Rachel Miner.

Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers, which wrapped on Sunday, will feature appearances by Heather Morris and her creative partner and BFF Ashley Lendzion (check out their video series Snuts!). In this clip, Morris talks with MUSEproductions' Roberta Hanley about Korine's script for SpringBreakers, Selena Gomez’s sincerity and her own directing aspirations. The film stars Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine and James Franco, and is a MUSE production.

The late Brad Renfro (who died of a heroin overdose in 2008) spilled to MUSEproductions’ Chris Hanley on the set of the movie Bully. He talks about unconditional love, indulgence and why working with Bully director Larry Clark on the 2001 film is the only acting gig he hasn’t hated because he “lets you open up and bleed, by God.” To see the filmmaking process from another angle, MUSEproductions talked to Clark about Bully. You can see that conversation in this clip (on our newly re-vamped Vimeo page).

And this decade old MUSE project has connections to our current one, the much-buzzed about Spring Breakers directed by Harmony Korine and currently finishing up shooting in Florida. Korine got his filmmaking start collaborating with Clark on the dark classic and controversial film Kids when he was only 19-years-old. And part of Spring Breakers star James Franco's participation in the Venice Biennale art installation includes him filming himself having Renfro’s name carved into his arm with a switchblade. Renfro was a co-star and a friend of Franco’s, and the exhibition explores “themes of masculinity, self-destruction and Hollywood,” as does Renfro in this clip.

Spring Breakers starlets Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens and Rachel Korine get down with MUSE's own Chris Hanley (who is known for his moves) on the set.

Spring Breakers star Selena Gomez, who described her role in Harmony Korine’s latest project “raw”, plans to add another diverse role to her resume. She has signed on to produce (and “most likely star”) in “The Sky is Everywhere,” according to MTV News. The film is based on a Jandy Nelson novel about a grieving 17-year-old girl who falls in love with two boys, one of whom was her (recently deceased) sister’s boyfriend.
